How do you get into a career involving precious gems and stones?

I love all the different types of gems and stones. The look, the feel, everything i love them. whether its something like diamonds, rubys, or emeralds, to stones like quartz, amethyst, opal, or anything. I dont wanna like make jewelry with them, but i wanna work with them you know? Im not sure what kind of jobs there are involving stones so i dont really know what i want to do with them but i would love to work with them. So i need careers that involve stones and i need to know what courses in college i need to take, and how to go about getting into the field. any help would be great

You might be interested in becoming a , that is an official profession which is highly regarded. To see if that’s what you like, please look it up on Google to find hobby classes in your area first, then maybe look for a professional school.

And if you’re really adventurous, maybe spend learning the trade a couple of years in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, which is the European center for gem cutting. The town is small, embedded in an idyllic landscape, and quite lovely. Yes, I’ve been there – I’m a German user living not too far away from it…:-)

How To Farm Gold In Wow

Here are some tips how to farm gold in WoW.

It is certainly not easy to give all the detailed gold farming tips in one single article. The reason is that for every class and profession in WoW we have countless ways to farm gold which are usually specific to a class or your own professions.

But there are some general gold farming rules which apply for anyone:

Choose a gathering profession like herbing or mining. Another good way to make gold is if you are a jewelry cutter or an alchemist.

With gathering professions its easy since you can simply use your skills in herbing or mining to collect items and re-sell them in the WoW auction house. Such items like herbs are always in demand.

An alchemist can transmute gems and sell them in the AH also. That’s really almost too obvious but it works very well. Of course, you can also sell your services on trade chat and offer gem transmutes or JC cuts in exchange for tips.

Exchange your honor for gems and sell them if you do PvP

If you do PvP and BGs, right now (as of patch 3.3.3) honor is really easy to grind, you can get gems for 10.000 honor from the honor vendor in Stormwind. That way you can easily make several hundred of gold per day simply by getting gems for honor.

Here is one of the most effective ways to make gold in wow:

Do heroics and random dungeons and use your frost badges to buy Primordial Saronite. You can get Saronite for 23 badges of frost from the badge vendor.  Saronite goes for 1500-1800 gold a pop, you simply run randoms and do as much instances as possible. Buy the saronite from your frost badges and resell:  PROFIT

Another good way to make gold in WoW is simply working the AH (auction house) using an addon like auctioneer to get good deals on stuff for resale.

But you need to know that working the AH needs some experience and skills, but if you master it, its one of the most effective and “lazy” ways since you dont need to gather anything, simple use your brain and visit the AH, buy and resell…Profit!
